Baseline rates

Sedan: ₹12–14 per km outstation, ₹2,400 for an 8-hour/80 km local day. SUV (Innova Crysta): ₹17–19 per km, ₹3,200 local. Tempo traveller: ₹22 per km, ₹5,500 per day.

Airport transfer to any city hotel should be ₹900 sedan and ₹1,400 SUV. Anything above that is a tourist rate.

The four charges to watch for

Driver night allowance quoted only on arrival. State border tax added after you cross into Gujarat or MP. 'Parking and toll extra' left off the confirmation. And the classic: minimum 300 km per day billed even when you drove 80.

Ask for one line in writing: 'all inclusive of fuel, tolls, taxes, parking, driver allowance'. Any operator unwilling to write that sentence is planning to charge you for it.
